does NOT work for iPod/iPhone 4 as advertised

Before downloading the app details claim that it works for both iPod Touch 4 and iPhone 4. After downloading and installing a popup message appears saying that it only works for iPod Touch 5 and iPhone 4S. Why let me download it on a device that it is incompatible with? I’ve never run across another app that actually lets you download something before telling you it is incompatible! Sorely disappointed because my daughters were really interested in trying this app.
